open letter to UTP League Managment

every year, there will be UTP League being organized and at also every year, there will be an official blog and that official blog is hardly being updated (or precisely the writer(s) of the blog) having a hard time updating the blog.

this is quite unacceptable.


the reasons:

1. they are busy with other things (which i admit, important, as a student) such as tests, quizzes, assignments and other academic thingy.
2. they are busy with the problems happening in the league throughout the season.
3. they think that it is enough just to update the news in the Facebook.


i repeat:
this is unacceptable as the blog is an OFFICIAL blog. it is the responsibility of the blog owner to update the blog as the matches are happening every week. so they need to act fast. not only updating it before the next match begins.


1. i know. everyone is busy with their thing. whats important for them. but, an OFFICIAL blog has to be updated. not that everybody who follows the league can afford to watch every game or at least, the match that involves the team they support. therefore, blog is the easiest way to get the important info such as the final score. final score does not need to be detailed. just write the team and the goals and if possible, the scorer. other things like match review can be added later.

2. problems throughout the season? that has nothing to do with the person in charge of updating the blog. there should be one person or a team, a specialized team just to update the blog. let them move freely and they do not have to do other works coz apparently, its like updating the blog is hard enough for them.

3. updating using facebook is lazy person method. there, anyone can spam. there are no problem at all (to spam). we can see the foreigners that are being overly proud with their team. that is not what people wants to read. people wants the news that matters to them. then only you can comment or read the comment on that topic in the comment box, if you want to lah.


suggestion from vendetta:

1. hire a permanent blogger for the official blog. there must be a person who record all the match results and this person can be the blogger or him/her can pass the complete final score to the blogger.
2. do the work efficiently.
3. show organization chart of the person in charge of UTP League so that we know them. so that we have someone or a body that we can refer to.
4. decrease the usage of anonymous name or anonymity in the chatbox. stop using names that does not show who you really are.


this post is a prove that we support UTP League. the fans want to know and care about it and UTP League management should not dissapoint the fan. we want UTP league to sustain its popularity and to do that, we (read:they) need the fans. that is one important point and the other important point i want to stress about is the word OFFICIAL there. it is like surfing livescore only to find out they did not update the score. having said that, i'm not saying that they have to update it like livescore but they should update it A.S.A.P.


more work, less talk. you do your job right, then there will be no (or less) problem. everybody will be satisfied. hopefully that the UTP League management can read this entry with an open mind. we at vendetta are hoping that everything goes smoothly without a problem.
